 How to use the CatchON TV App?

This tutorial assume you’ve already installed Catch On TV Player on your preferred Android device.


If you haven’t already, please follow these instructions:


  1. Use your preferred browser or install the Downloader app on your Android device.
  2. In the browser or the Downloader app, enter our app download link, “https://tinyurl.com/catchontv“, and it will start downloading.

Activate your Service

The CatchON app works as Prepaid Code activation model. It will ask you to enter your Prepaid code in order to activate the device and after that it will ask you to select your desired channel packages.


You will be provided with a Prepaid Code whether Free Trial or Paid Code by your Distributor agent. Use the prepaid code and move forward.





 


Home Screen Overview

The Home Screen interface of Catch On TV Player has been designed to provide you with a user-friendly viewing experience.


The upper section of the Home Screen displays your recently watched channels, allowing for easy access to your frequently used channels. Directly below this section, you will find a list of your favorite channels, sports events, and Video On Demand (VOD) content.





To access the left menu from the Home Screen, simply press the “Left” navigation button on your remote control.





This will open up the left menu, which allows you to navigate through various options including the Search menu, My Live, Sports Events, Webcasts, Newly Released Movies, Replay Events, Movies & TV Series, and an Adult Section (Category Name 19+).


At the bottom of the left menu, you will find the Settings menu, which offers various configuration options.


My Live Section Guide

On the left menu, you can navigate to the “My Live” menu, which provides access to all available TV channels. Simply select the My Live option to access the Live TV Channels.





You can change channels by using the “Up” and “Down” navigation buttons on the remote control. There are various customization options available for you to explore, such as adding channels to your favorites list, locking specific channels, and accessing all channel lists.


Add/Remove Channels to Favorites

Adding channels to your Favorites list has never been easier with Catch On TV Player. To add a channel to your Favorites list, simply click the “Right” navigation button on your remote control while watching the desired channel.





Once the “Red Heart” button appears, select it to add the channel to your favorites. To remove a channel from your Favorites list, just click the same button again.





Accessing your Favorites list is effortless—just navigate to the Favorites section on the Home page, and all of your selected channels will be available for you to choose from.


 


Lock Channels

If you wish to restrict access to any channel, you can easily do so by clicking on the “Lock” button located at the bottom section of that channel’s page.


To unlock a previously locked channel, simply enter the default Parental Control PIN, which is “0000.”


Access All Channels


To access all available channels in a categorized order, simply click the “Middle” navigation button on your remote control while on any channel.





This will take you to a page where you can browse through different categories and regions and find your preferred channels.





Additionally, if you click the “Right” navigation button on your remote control while on the all channels list, you can access the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) for the selected channel. This guide provides a list of scheduled TV programs for that channel.


Your favorite channels can also be accessed from this page, making it easy to navigate and find the channels you enjoy watching.


Search Contents Guide

If you are looking for a particular channel or VOD content, you can easily search for it by navigating to the Home page and then accessing the left menu. The Search option is located at the top of the menu and can be selected to initiate a search for your desired content





Sports Events Guide

Catch On TV Player offers a comprehensive Sports Events menu that can be found directly below the My Live menu. This menu contains a wide range of sports that have been categorized for easy navigation. Football, Volleyball, Rugby league, Billiards, Combat sports, Golf, Racing, Ice hockey, Tennis, Handball, Darts, and other sports are just some examples of what is available.


Within each category, you can see which events are currently live (“OnAir”) and which ones are scheduled for later, along with the corresponding date and time information. This makes it easy to keep track of all your favorite sporting events in one convenient location.





Webcast Section Guide

The Webcast section of the Catch On TV Player provides access to various streaming service options, including Pluto TV and Peanut TV.





By selecting any of the available services, you can then browse through different regions to find exclusive content that is available in those regions. This allows you to enjoy a wide range of content from different regions around the world, all from one convenient location.


 


Replay Events Guide

Within the “New Release” menu of Catch On TV Player, you can also access the “Replay Events” menu. This menu contains a selection of recorded sports events that you can enjoy at your convenience. Whether you missed a live event or simply want to relive a favorite moment, the Replay Events menu offers a convenient way to catch up on all the action.





Movies/Videos and Series Guide

Below the Replay Events menu, you can find the Movie and Series menus in sequence, where movies and TV series are categorized based on their genres.





Additionally, the New Release menu below the Webcast menu features newly released movies that can be accessed.


 


Adult Section Guide

You can find the “19+” section, which is the adult section, in the lower part of the left menu, just above the settings.


Accessing this section requires entering the default parental control PIN, “0000,” which can be changed in the Settings menu.





Settings Menu Guide

The settings menu can be located at the bottom of the left menu, which requires entering the default “0000” Parental Control pin to access.


Within the Settings menu, there are options such as Channels Package and Parental Control.


The Channel Packages section offers regional packages that can be selected or deselected based on personal preference.


Parental Control Option

The Parental Control section has two options. One option is to change the Parental Control PIN through the “Change PIN” feature. To do this, you must first enter the old PIN, which is “0000” by default, and then enter the new PIN twice to confirm the change.
